What's Happening

Yellow Breeches Middle School Supplies

In order for you to come back in August a little more prepared, we have put together a list of supplies that will be useful when you do your back-to-school shopping.

Assignment Books

There is no need to purchase an assignment book. Every student will be given a Yellow Breeches Middle School Assignment Book and will be expected to utilize it to keep themselves organized.

Backpacks and Gym Bags

Backpacks and gym bags can be brought to and from school but may not be used during the school day. You will be assigned a locker near all of your core classes. Due to the fact that bags must remain in the lockers, soft sided backpacks and gym bags are best. Backpacks with wheels may not fit in the lockers.

Message from the Principal

Welcome to Yellow Breeches Middle School, where excellence, growth, and friendship combine to help everyone reach their fullest potential.  It is our privilege to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you.

At YBMS, our journey is guided by a simple philosophy: "Knowing Better and Doing Better."  This philosophy encapsulates our commitment to continuous learning and improvement. We believe that knowledge is the foundation upon which better decisions, better actions, and ultimately, a better future are built. It's not enough to know; we must apply our knowledge to create positive change in our lives and the world around us.

Striving for excellence is a way of life here. Our dedicated faculty, motivated students, and supportive community work hand in hand to push the boundaries of what's possible. We embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and innovation, nurturing talents and cultivating a culture of resilience.

YB is also a place where friendships are forged, where students learn not only from textbooks but also from one another. The bonds formed here are the building blocks of a supportive and inclusive community.

We encourage you to explore our website, where you will find information about our programs, values, and the remarkable achievements of our students. Whether you are a student, parent, or member of our wider community, we invite you to join us in making the world a better place through education, unity, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

Mr. John Osuch
Principal

Mr. Brandon Deitch
