  • moved to the states at the age of 7
  • visited Puerto Rico during the summer breaks for many years 
  • was raised in upstate New York
  • graduated from Shippensburg University
  • got married here in Pennsylvania
  • has energetically taught Spanish in Boiling Springs since 2007
