A little bit about Mrs. Bond:

• Originally from Westminster, MD, I came to PA to attend York College of Pennsylvania where I majored in Secondary Education - English.
• My first teaching assignment was at Northeastern High School, and I taught technical, college prep, and honors 10th grade American literature. I also taught journalism and advised both the school newspaper and yearbook. Northeastern is still special to me because I met my wonderful husband (also an educator) there.
• After leaving Northeastern, I taught 11th grade English at Carlisle High School. There I also taught technical and college prep American literature, and I advised the Young Adult (YA) Novel Club.
• My children are the light of my life, and they love books almost as much as I do.
• I have a Master's of Education in School Library and Information Technologies from Mansfield University.
• I joined the Boiling Springs High School faculty in 2011 and am excited to be a Bubbler! My favorite unit to teach is research, and I love reading and discussing YA books. In addition to my library duties, I also serve as webmaster, social media coordinator, and editor for the district calendar and district newsletter.
